State of Georgia
Prevention Minimum Dataset
Welcome to the State of Georgia Prevention Minimum Dataset (GAPrevMDS). In an ongoing effort to promote health and the well being of individuals, families, and communities through various prevention activities and strategies, the MDS system enables the Office of Prevention Services and Programs to quantify and compare the numbers and types of primary substance abuse prevention and early intervention services delivered throughout the state of Georgia.
The MDS system is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP), and is available to all states to allow for state-to-state comparisons of prevention and intervention services.
